Project
The demolition of an existing
window manufacturing workshop and the construction of 10 apartments with
underground parking and a rooftop garden.
The works were carried out as
a joint venture with the site owner using a JCT design and build contract.
Complex civil engineering
works including a deep retaining structure below street
level, were successfully designed and managed by Gyrus
allowing the full potential of the site to be realised. |
Show apartments were provided
by Gyrus as part of the marketing and sales assistance.
The street frontage was sympathetically designed to match the existing terraces.
The maximum potential of the site
was achieved with the construction of a 3 storey rear block.
This was designed over an underground car
park with a communal roof garden incorporated to provide open
air leisure space.
